Got some good chunes for ya from the electro-monster JFK.  JFK is arguably the better half of the Canadian pair MSTRKRFT.  Never to be seen performing without a cigarette in his mouth and a bottle of booze in front of him, this guy brings it hard.  With remixes of Mr. Oizo, D.I.M., and Kid Sister under his belt he never ceases to impress.  His recent edit of Buy Now’s ‘Body Crash’ brings that hard electro in a time when many people think the genre is dying.  Please don’t stop.

Alex Metric @ Wax, Dublin 2.5.10

Hey guys, sorry for the wait but I’ve been in Ireland for the past week and still got a few days to go.  Alex Metric was at Wax in Dublin last Friday night.  This place looked like someone’s basement but had a killer sound system and was packed.  He destroyed the place (and our ears) for almost four hours with savage electro beats and dancey tunes.  The only complaint I have about the night is this girl that smelled like shit that wouldn’t leave the dance floor.  Let’s be serious you Irish knackers.

If you have the chance to see this guy, drop everything and do it.

Ed Banger 7th Anniversary Party

This weekend Ed Banger Records takes over NYC with an incredible line up @ Terminal 5, Justice, DJ Mehdi, Busy P, and Breakbot. There is also an after party @ Webster Hall featuring SebastiAn, Feadz, and So-Me + more. What a distorted blur of a night this will be. Tickets for the Terminal 5 show have sold out, but the after party at Webster should still be available either with a Dollar Daze ($1 dollar at door) ticket before 11PM, or an After hours ticket ($15 or $25 at the door).

Don’t miss it if you can.

Also just announced recently was Fake Blood, Surkin and Boy 8-Bit at Webster Hall, March 19th. Andy and I have been dying to see Fake Blood and the supporting line up will certainly not disappoint. You can also get in with Dollar Daze tickets, but I bought a general admission ticket just in case.
